CREDENTIALS THAT COUNT

At Temper Private Wealth, our dedication to excellence drives everything we do, including our commitment to pursuing and maintaining elite industry credentials.

Why does this matter to you?

Because when your financial well-being and legacy are at stake, you deserve a professional who holds themselves accountable to the highest standards in the industry. Our certifications are not simply letters after a name; they're commitments to rigorous ethical standards, continuous education, and unmatched expertise to guide you toward your financial goals.

Our Professional Recognitions

CFP® – CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™

In a complex financial world, clarity and trust are paramount. Working with a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional ensures you're guided by someone who has voluntarily committed to comprehensive training, stringent examinations, and ethical rigor. The CFP® certification signifies mastery in key areas like financial planning, investments, tax strategies, retirement and estate planning, and risk management.

Earning the CFP® designation is not easy: it requires successfully completing a rigorous examination, accumulating at least three years of meaningful financial planning experience, and passing extensive background and ethics checks conducted by the CFP® Board. Moreover, a CFP® professional upholds their expertise by completing at least 30 hours of approved continuing education every two years.

How does this directly benefit you? Your CFP® professional is trained and continuously educated to design customized financial strategies tailored to your life and legacy, placing integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism at the core of every interaction.

CPWA® – Certified Private Wealth Advisor®

High-net-worth individuals and families encounter unique financial complexities. Certified Private Wealth Advisor® professionals have advanced training specifically aimed at managing the sophisticated needs of affluent individuals, families, and business owners.

The CPWA® designation reflects deep knowledge and specialized skills in wealth management strategies including advanced tax mitigation, estate planning, asset protection, legacy planning, and family governance. This credential isn't easily attained; it involves rigorous coursework, a comprehensive examination, and ongoing education requirements through the Investments & Wealth Institute.

What sets a CPWA® advisor apart? Your advisor understands the intricacies that accompany significant wealth, helping you successfully navigate complex decisions at every stage, from wealth accumulation and tax efficiency, to ensuring your legacy for future generations.

Temper Private Wealth does not provide direct tax or legal advice. Please consult with a qualified tax or legal professional regarding your personal situation.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Center for Financial Planning, Inc. owns and licenses the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, and CFP® (with plaque design) in the United States to Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., which authorizes individuals who successfully complete the organization’s initial and ongoing certification requirements to use the certification marks.

Investments & Wealth Institute™ (The Institute) is the owner of the certification marks “CPWA®,” and “Certified Private Wealth Advisor®.” Use of CPWA®, and/or Certified Private Wealth Advisor® signifies that the user has successfully completed The Institute’s  initial and ongoing credentialing requirements for wealth advisors.
